Typical of Sony portable computers, the P will have a high-resolution screen. Sony’s P-Series netbook will support an 8-inch wide TFT LCD with a LED backlight. This one is 8” with whopping 1600×768 resolution and more than 2:1 aspect ratio. That means you won’t have nearly as much scrolling as the typical 1024×600 netbook display. Storage comes in the form of a traditional hard drive up to a measly 60GB but you can opt for a 128GB SSD drive. The 1.33GHz Intel CPU will most likely be a dual-core Atom. This tiny module will run Vista Home Premium or Home Basic. This netbook will be available in three colors (Crimson Red, Champagne Gold, and Black Silk). Stay tuned and see what Sony cooked up for us in their P-Series netbook.
