Asus to Launch a DVD Equiped Eee PC 1004DN in Mid-April

Taiwan’s ASUS is constantly expanding its Eee PC line-up. The Eee PC™ 1004DN is the first in the Eee PC™ range to feature a Super-Multi optical disc drive, enabling users to read and write optical discs for convenient data back-ups. The Eee PC™ 1004DN is a 10-inch netbook powered by Intel Atom N280 Processor. It includes Intel’s HD video-capable GN40 chipset. Other hardware specification include an ExpressCard slot, 1GB Memory, 120GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8-in-1 card reader, an integrated 1.3 MP webcam.  It offers HSPA-based 3G or WiMAX as options and weigh 2.4 lbs.
